| About the CCA |
The Concert Band CCA provides students with opportunities to grow as musicians through regular training and the performance of a wide range of musical genres, from marches to contemporary pieces. Through these experiences, students develop musical skills, confidence, and appreciation. Band members perform at various school and external events, including the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation, National Day celebrations, school musicals, band exchanges, and community performances. These opportunities allow students to share their music with diverse audiences and build stage confidence. Beyond music-making, the CCA instills values such as discipline, resilience, responsibility, and teamwork. Students learn the importance of consistent practice, attentive listening, and working together as one band, one sound, fostering both musical excellence and character development. |
